Conference Fifty years since ’Smoking and health’ progress, lessons and priorities for a smoke-free UK

Working Time Directive: Towards a workable compromise? Views of the Royal College of Physicians


The European Working Time Directive (EWTD) has introduced a number of restrictions that have been criticised in the UK and in other European countries, especially regarding doctors. Royal College of Physicians conference on doctors role in tackling social determinants of health


On the 10 June 2010 the Royal College of Physicians is holding a major conference on how the medical profession can best tackle the social determinants of health and health inequalities - both on a local level and through national policy, and by changes to medical education and training. Royal College of Physicians manifesto for a healthier society
