In this article, EPHA describes the different steps that led to the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty.
Since the Lisbon Treaty came into force, the European Parliament must be now composed of 754 MEPs for the 27 Member States on a transitional basis - which means an increase of 18 additional MEPs.
