Filip’s career in public health is motivated by the desire to promote evidence-based policy with the goal of reducing health inequalities. His work at EPHA focuses on advocating for inclusive digital health policy, as well as ethical use of AI and Big Data in healthcare.
He holds a double Master’s degree in European Public Health from the University of Sheffield and Maastricht University. Prior to that, Filip completed his Bachelor’s studies at New York University Abu Dhabi in Political Science, and Social Research & Public Policy. He has previous working experience as a research assistant on projects related to sexual and digital health, and was engaged in advocacy through active involvement in student organizations.
In addition to speaking Croatian as his native language, he is fluent in English and has intermediate knowledge of Spanish. In his free time, Filip loves traveling, singing and amateur photography.
