Jasmina Cunmulaj

Strategic Partnerships and Leadership Manager

Jasmina Cunmulaj became a part of EPHA in September 2023, bringing an abundance of experience in global health research from her academic background and health policy consulting within the NGO sector. Her career has been marked by a focus on identifying the healthcare needs of marginalized communities throughout the Western Balkans and devising strategies to prioritize health equity and overall well-being in policy agendas.

With a diverse educational foundation, Jasmina earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Developmental Psychology and English Literature from the University of Detroit Mercy, followed by the completion of a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2022. Her educational journey has consistently revolved around research, focused on addressing the healthcare needs of underserved populations in various regions, including Montenegro, Myanmar, and the United States, driving her passion for advancing equitable and enhanced healthcare for all individuals. Jasmina further honed her expertise by working as a consultant for the World Health Organization in Europe, gaining professional experience in European public health, youth health, and well-being.

At EPHA, Jasmina holds the role of providing crucial support to Director General Milka Sokolović. She works closely with the DG, offering administrative and technical assistance to the Organisational Development team. Her unwavering commitment is to advocate for health policy enhancements that positively impact health and well-being across the entire European region, collaborating closely with DG Milka Sokolovic and the dedicated EPHA team to realize these shared objectives.
