Paolo Lauriola

EPHA President

Paolo is a physician with three post-graduate diplomas in Industrial Hygiene, Public health, and Medical Statistics (Epidemiology).

He is the Scientific Responsible for the “Italian Network of Sentinel Physicians for the Environment” and a  Member of the Executive Board and the Scientific Committee of ISDE-Italy

He is he Italian representative of the International Network of Public Health and Environmental Tracking (INPHET), the main aim of wich is to “fill the gap” between science, policymakers and society.

He is a member of several international working groups. He is a member of the WHO Civil Society Commission.

He is an Emeritus Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini. 

He led 3 Twinning projects in the field of Environment and Health. The last one in Georgia in collaboration with PHE (UK) and IOM-NOFER (PL). He also led a Central Europe project ”  with 18 partners on Urban Heat Island.

He published many articles and books.
