Organised by Dynamo International – Street Workers Network – this conference-debate on “Roma people, street work and EU policies” aims to foster discussion among EU institutions, key experts and grassroot organisations on policy perspectives and effective practices in the field of Roma integration in the European Union.
The conference-debate on “Roma People, Street Work and EU Policies”, will take place at the European Parliament on Tuesday 16 October 2012, from 14h00 to 18h00. The event will be hosted by Veronique De Keyser MEP.

Background
Within the framework of the debate on the National Roma Integration Strategies and in line with the recent Commission’s policy recommendations for the implementation of the EU Framework for Roma integration up to 2020, this event will foster discussion between representatives from the EU Institutions, key experts and grassroot organisations on policy perspectives and effective practices in the field of Roma in the European Union.
