A joint conference on Tobacco Control will be hold in Maidstone, Kent UK on Friday 8th November.
The conference is hosted by Kent Stop Smoking Service, Kent Public Health and The Health and Europe Centre. Its aim is to provide public health teams, policy makers and front line intervention staff the opportunity to hear about:
- European legislation and policy related to Tobacco Control
- Successful European interventions to reduce harm from tobacco
- UK Tobacco strategy
- UK good practice
Key areas of interest are the Tobacco Directive, illicit trade, harm reduction and e-cigarettes.
The organisers are looking for speakers to present at our event. Travel and associated costs will be funded but we cannot provide a speakers fee. If you are interested in finding out more please contact Amy Semple,

– The Health and Europe Centre: is a social enterprise funded by NHS stakeholder organisations as well as Kent County Council in the UK.
