Jana Kirschner

Projects Coordinator

At EPHA, Jana is able to combine her strategic analytical skills with her passion for reducing inequalities in society and working closely with like-minded people in a team to make the world a little better. She contributes to EPHA’s goals by expanding EPHA’s funding portfolio and supporting the overall coordination of projects such as Horizon Europe and EU4Health.

Before joining EPHA, Jana worked as a senior consultant in the financial institutions sector. The main part of her work was to help her clients assess their risks and bring them in line with the latest regulations. She holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Ulm and another Master’s degree in World Economics from Fudan University in Shanghai.

Jana enjoys learning and developing at every opportunity, both in her business and personal life. This may mean learning a new sport from time to time, such as kitesurfing recently, or a new dish. However, some of the hobbies stay longer in her life, where she deepens her knowledge every year. For example, she has been playing the piano for 20 years. Jana speaks fluent English and German.
